Over the past three decades, Texas Performing Arts has sold more than six million tickets to more than 4,500 performances. We currently employ a professional staff of 60 in our administrative offices and production shops and annually hire 90 part-time student workers. We are the largest performing arts organization in Central Texas, and we are proud to serve The University of Texas and the surrounding communities.
From the Texas premieres of Rappahannock County and The Infernal Comedy starring John Malkovich, to an evening with four-time Grammy Award-winning soprano Dawn Upshaw, to a return engagement by the National Theatre of Scotland performing the state premiere of Long Gone Lonesome, the 2011-2012 Texas Performing Arts Season continues to bring world-class entertainment experiences to Central Texas audiences.

Jules Buck Jones (M.F.A., Studio Art, 2008)
Jules Buck Jones’ (M.F.A., Studio Art, 2008) first solo exhibition at Champion, Animal Again, is comprised of new works on paper, video, and a massive installation, all of which extend his investigation into the concepts of wildlife, natural science, mythology, and abstraction. Animal Again builds on Jones’ earlier work by bringing together both drawing and sculpture – choppier, heavier marks abstract the mask-like animal forms.
Animal Again will be on view from February 25 through March 19, 2011.
Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11-6 PM.
