Career Advising
Career advising is currently available from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm.
Fine Arts Career Services offers individual appointments for career advising. Students and alumni seeking help with career direction, resumes, cover letters, promotional materials or just general job and internship search advice are encouraged to schedule a consultation. FACS also provides mock interviews for those preparing for job or graduate school interviews.
Sorry we missed you! Roving Office Hours will resume the week of September 10, 2012. When roving office hours are in session, we bring career services to YOU. Walk-ins are welcome; look for the red wagon in your building for mobile career advice!
Scheduling a Consultation
Call 232-7333 to schedule an appointment. Thirty to forty-five minute one-on-one consultations are offered from 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Monday through Friday with the Fine Arts Career Services Coordinator. If you are seeking help with your resume or other written document, email them to apaterra@austin.utexas.edu at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment.
Consultations take place in Doty Fine Arts (DFA) 1.103. If you are a current student, please bring your UT ID card and check in at the front desk.
While the initial consultation must be in person, many students choose to follow up on their visit via email.
