40 Future Faculty Attend Academic Job Search Workshop

Forty aspiring faculty members who are currently graduate students in the Department of Art and Art History and the Butler School of Music attended the Academic Job Search Crash Course on Friday, August 20. The crash course covered the fundamentals of applying to faculty positions with an emphasis on self-assessment and relating it to an institution’s needs. Four Austin-area faculty members including David Kroft, Leonard Lehrer, Shane Sullivan, and Dana Zenobi concluded the panel by sharing their advice and answering participant questions.
