New works on paper by Sarah Canright, Senior Lecturer in Studio Art in the Department of Art and Art History, are on view in this exhibition at the Courtyard Gallery at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center.

The Courtyard Gallery features the artwork of faculty and alumni of the Department of Art and Art History in the College of Fine Arts.

Sarah Canright received a B.F.A. in painting at the Art Institute of Chicago. Canright was included in 1974 Whitney Biennial and had solo exhibitions at the Pam Adler Gallery and Franklin Furnace. In the course of her career, she has been awarded three National Endowment for the Arts grants and has held numerous teaching positions before coming to The University of Texas at Austin in 1982. Most recently, Canright had a solo exhibition at the CUE Art Foundation in New York (fall 2011).
