The University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts in partnership with the Texas Cultural Trust presents hands-on professional development sessions for teaching TEA’s new innovative course: Art And Media Communications. The sessions are taught by University of Texas at Austin Art Education Faculty on the University of Texas at Austin campus.

Session II: Thursday-Saturday, June 14-16, 2012
Session III: Monday-Wednesday, June 18-20, 2012
Session IV: Thursday-Saturday, June 21-23, 2012

Session Times:
Day 1: 9 a.m.-Noon and 1-5 p.m.
Day 2: 9 a.m.-Noon and 1-5 p.m.
Day 3: 9 a.m.-Noon

Art and Media Communications, which, as an innovative course may serve as an elective credit toward high school graduation, combines rigorous and relevant experiential study of modern, post-modern, and contemporary visual art and design with student learning in media literacy and technology applications.
