Event Title:"The Rave Revue" Presented by Texas Musical Theatre Workshop (More Information)
Event Description:

Texas Musical Theatre Workshop students demonstrate what they have learned and experienced throughout the three-week summer intensive. The showing includes excerpts of original Broadway choreography, including jazz and tap numbers from Tommy, Fosse, and Anything Goes; a performance of the Act One Finale from Les Miserables (“One Day More”); and the (now) traditional closing bows set to “One” from A Chorus Line. In addition, students present monologues and musical theatre vocal audition material that has been polished and refined during their study at Texas Musical Theatre Workshop.

Texas Musical Theatre Workshop, hosted at The University of Texas at Austin, is a pre-collegiate intensive for high school students exploring a potential career in musical theatre. Workshop participants are trained by industry professionals and are exposed to the creative process of new work development.
