2014 College of Fine Arts Undergraduate Professional Development Travel Initiative

PURPOSE / GUIDELINES
The Faculty Fine Arts Task Force for Undergraduate Studies announces the third year of the College of Fine Arts Undergraduate Professional Development Travel Initiative.

The purpose of this initiative is to provide support for short-term (4-6 day) group travel to resources primarily in North America that are crucial to the professional development of undergraduate students in our College. Groups of two (2) to five (5) undergraduate students will be considered. Preference will be given to proposals indicating travel taking place during Spring Break 2014, though other dates before March 31, 2014 will also be considered.

Each group must have a faculty sponsor who will write in support of the group’s proposal, as well as a host sponsor in the location proposed for travel who will indicate willingness to assist with the group’s proposed project. Proposal deadline is November 22. Successful groups will be given specific guidelines on funding, documentation, and other logistics when they are notified in January.

DEADLINES
The application deadline is November 22, 2013. Successful groups will be notified by January 14, 2014.
