Favorite Memory of T&D:
Wow, so many… ummm…laughing hysterically in Jim Hancock's Alexander class; while not necessarily favorite, but very vivid… 9/11… brand new at UT, holding Kim Dilt's while watching the buildings come down. And then, on 9/11, Stacy Wolf's class…thank you Stacy; but really, you know, as far as favorite memories… I mainly remember lots of hugs….
Influential Professors or Classes:
This is such a hard one… all of the classes and professors I had at UT influenced me and prepared me in some form or fashion. But, if I were to list a few things that come to mind: Fran Dorn for extremely high expectations; Lucien Douglas for his excitement and sincere care for what he does and for his students… it's infectious; Barney Hammond for helping me discover my voice; Andrea Beckham for helping me understand my body; Jill Dolan and the "Teacher Training" course; Stacy Wolf for making us read a million plays!

Actor, Teacher, Associate Artistic Director
In 2009, my husband (Judson Jones) and I (along with a great team of designers and actors) founded the Off-Broadway company, Theatre East. Our programming consists of main stage, family series, neighborhood reading series, mixers, etc. We are very interested in establishing community and sparking challenging dialogue. I serve as a producer, sometimes actor, and sometimes work as assistant director. Our main stage productions have included: Tim Blake Nelson's Eye of God and Daniel MacIvor's The Soldier Dreams (both produced at Theatre Row, 42nd Street, NYC). We've also presented Bennett Windheim's Normalcy and an adaptation of The Jungle Book (both at the Peter Jay Sharp Stage above Playwright's Horizon's on 42nd Street, NYC).
As a teacher, I have worked with Pace University's undergraduate acting department, NYU/Kanbar Film/TV Institute, NYU/Tisch School of the Arts, CAP 21 (Acting), Powerhouse Apprentice Program (with New York Stage and Film) on the Vassar campus, and currently I'm at Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYU/Conservatory). At Stella Adler, I teach voice and speech, accent reduction, and serve as dialect/voice coach on productions. I am also the Director of Teen Programs at the studio.
My most recent acting credits involve commercial and theatre work. Most recently, I performed the lead role in James Haigney's The Woman Standing on the Moon directed by Benard Cummings.
