It is important to pay your insurance premiums on time to avoid cancellation. Payments can be made in full or in monthly installments. If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, payment is due by the following business day.
Accounts that are two months behind on the last day of a month will be cancelled to basic coverage*. Those who do not receive premium sharing will have all coverage cancelled.
Payment Options
AutoPay – Automatic Payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from your bank account ***New effective 9/1/07***
Automatic payments, called AutoPay, can either be set up online or by submitting a paper enrollment form. To complete your enrollment online, a High Assurance EID is required to access the AutoPay web site at https://utdirect.utexas.edu/acct/rec/autopay/. You can update or cancel your AutoPay enrollment online at any time. The UT EID web site at https://idmanager.its.utexas.edu/eid_self_help/contact has information about upgrading your UT EID.
In lieu of online enrollment, you can complete and submit an Automatic Payment Request Authorization Form available online at http://www.utexas.edu/payroll/forms.html. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE FORM WITH YOUR PAYMENT. It should be mailed to the address on the back of the form. You can update or cancel your AutoPay at any time by submitting a new form. If you have questions about AutoPay or need to request a paper enrollment form, contact Payroll Services at (512) 471-5271.
