What is UTRetirement Manager?
UTRetirement Manager offers resources to help you plan for your financial future. Is is a secure Web site that enables you to review your retirement savings and helps you project how much you need to save for retirement.
UTRetirement Manager is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can use it to:
- Learn about your UT System Retirement Plans
- View a summary of your Retirement Plan balances*
- Enroll in and make changes to your Retirement Plans
- Split your contributions between multiple vendors
- Read Financial Education articles on a range of topics about financial planning
- Use Financial Calculators to help you determine how much of your salary you may need to save for your future.
* Balances are available for employees enrolled with one of the currently authorized providers.
How do I get started?
- Go to the UTRetirement Manager [external site]
Note: the recommended browser for the Web site is Internet Explorer for both Windows and Mac.
- Read the Privacy Policy and Security information (upper right corner; just to the left of the logo)
- Select "I'm a new user" (upper right corner; just below the logo)
- Enter the requested information (use your high-assurance UT EID as your "Employee Unique ID" - but do NOT enter your normal EID password)
- Enter a new password (following the password requirements listed on the site)
- Start planning your future!
Disclosure of the last four digits of your Social Security number (“SSN”) is requested from you in order for The University of Texas at Austin to access the UTRetirement Manager. No statute or other authority requires that you disclose your SSN for that purpose. Failure to provide the last four digits of your SSN, however, will preclude access to the UTRetirement Manager. Further disclosure of your SSN is governed by the Public Information Act (Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code) and other applicable law. The Retirement Manager System is a secured Web site and uses various measures including encryption to protect the identity of users.
