The establishment of The University of Texas at Austin Institutional Compliance Program is to assure that the University's operations consistently function within the appropriate regulatory boundaries. The boundaries include state and federal, UT Board of Regents' Rules and Regulations, University of Texas System and University of Texas at Austin Policies and Procedures. Human Resource Services plays a vital and important role in the overall Compliance Program by insuring that all human resource policies are in compliance with federal and state laws.
 

Purpose

The Human Resource Compliance Program is designed to:

  • Comply with all federal and state laws, policies, and procedures related to Human Resources
  • Implement programs to train staff on policies and procedures
  • Monitor and track compliance initiatives
