Seasonal Flu Vaccine

The seasonal flu vaccine is currently being administered by University Health Services (UHS). The cost for faculty and staff is $10. Please visit the UHS Web site for a schedule of days and times that the vaccine will be administered on campus (while supplies last).

UT Select members have the option of receiving a flu shot through a Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) provider. A regular co-payment will be applied for receiving the shot. Flu shots are also available from other sources, such as retail pharmacies that set their own cost.

H1N1 Flu Vaccine

The H1N1 flu vaccine is estimated to become available in early-mid October. It is being provided at no cost by the U.S. government; however, there will be a charge for the administration of the vaccine. Details regarding the availability of H1N1 vaccines on campus are not yet available. Please check the UHS Web site for updates.

UT Select members may receive the H1N1 vaccine through a BCBS provider and may pay up to the amount of a regular co-payment or less ($16-$22), if no other services are rendered during the office visit. H1N1 vaccines may also be available from other sources, such as retail pharmacies that set their own cost.

Note: UT Flex medical account participants may submit their flu shot receipts to PayFlex as an eligible expense, regardless of where their flu shot is administered.
