Your UT Select pharmacy benefits are administered by Medco Health Solutions (Medco). The plan requires a $100 annual deductible per person, per plan year. After the deductible is met, co-payments apply, which are based on drug categories. The three drug categories are generic, preferred (name brand) and non-preferred (name brand) prescription drugs.
The UHS Pharmacy accepts UT Select prescription drug insurance. All employees covered by UT Select, excluding their dependents, may fill prescriptions at the UHS Pharmacy. If your prescription is extremely expensive or very specialized it may need to be ordered in advance. Please call the pharmacy at 512-471-1824 in advance to confirm availability. The pharmacy also sells a wide variety of over-the-counter medications.
