Join us for the monthly UFCU Financial Wellness Series! By participating in our monthly series and leveraging the resources provided through our UFCU partnership, you'll have the knowledge and tools to confidently navigate your financial journey. Register on UTLearn.

  • April 16: Understanding your Credit Score In this seminar, you’ll learn how your credit score is determined, how to improve your credit, and how to avoid hurting your credit score.
  • May 21: Budgeting 101 If you're looking for tips and tricks for creating and managing a budget, we offer three budgeting workshops to help you stay in control of your finances.
  • June 18: Creating an Effective Retirement Plan Learn how to plan for the future from UFCU's Wealth Management team.
  • August 20: Building Financial Resilience It's important to build a strong financial foundation to weather any storm. This seminar includes tools and strategies to help you prepare, including budgeting, goal-setting, emergency savings, and insurance.

Care.com provides 24/7 access to 1 on 1 expert support for all of life’s distractions and major decisions. Areas of services include childcare, eldercare, and petcare.

Employee Discount Program

The University of Texas Austin provides different options for employees seeking discounts and affordable rates on a variety of services and products and also provides access to value-added services like finding childcare through our partnerships.

LifeMart for Discounts

LIfeMart is the home for all of the University’s discount offerings for employees featuring a wide variety of options from food delivery, to car rentals, cell phone services, car buying, and home security. Add offers to your “favorites” to easily find them again when you need them in the future. LifeMart is powered by Care.com. To access LifeMart, you must first register with Care.com 

Commuter Subsidy Program

In recognition of the challenges posed by the rising cost of living in Austin and the surrounding areas and its impact on the financial well-being of some employees, the University has established an annual Commuter Subsidy program for eligible employees.

Colleges, schools, and units (CSUs) identify eligible employees in their areas to receive a subsidy of $200 in the November paychecks. You can find out more information here.
