Human Resource Services contributes to the University's mission of teaching, research and public service by:

  • Providing direction and support to attract, develop, retain and recognize a talented, committed and diverse workforce.

  • Promoting a healthy, productive, fair and respectful campus community.

  • Facilitating informed decision making regarding people, benefits, and the organization by providing accurate, timely, accessible information.

  • Listening and responding to customer needs.

Recruiting and Staffing Services contributes to the Mission of Human Resource Services at UT Austin by:

  • Providing direction and support for recruiting and referral services to attract and retain a talented, committed and diverse workforce.

  • Providing accurate, timely, and accessible information through effective pre-employment and employee records management information systems.

  • Promoting fair and respectful services for all Recruiting and Staffing Services customers.

  • Listening and responding to customer needs in both the recruiting/referral and employee records management areas.
