Departments may submit requests for UTemps online!

An online UTemps Personnel Requisition Form is available for use by UT Austin departments. Completing and submitting the online form will send your request for temporary employees directly to the UTemps Coordinator's e-mail inbox. Once submitted, a UTemps Coordinator will contact you with a reply, acknowledging your request.

Here are a few advantages to consider when choosing UTemps:

  • UTemps counselors work with hiring supervisors to understand needs and then manage the selection processes.
  • Required personnel documents and appointment, timekeeping and payroll transactions are completed by UTemps.
  • UTemps candidates can be assessed to validate the skills that they self-declare - typing, spelling, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows.
  • The candidate's record of criminal convictions is screened prior to assignment.
  • Quality control is established for all UT assignments using feedback from previous assignments.
  • A UTemps assignment may be ended at any time based on business needs and the best use of resources as determined by managers.
