Salary Restriction Policy, Exception and Review ProcessRich Burns, Project Consultant, Human Resource Services

Background

Processing Guidelines

  • The Processing Guidelines document breaks down the Salary Restriction Policy by:
  • Transaction type
  • Identifying the exceptions possible
  • Establishing the guidelines and process
  • Addressing steps HRS and/or Payroll will need to take to implement the new process
  • Identifying the offices that will review and approve the request
  • Generally, staffing and compensation transaction documents will be sent through normal HR or Payroll channels
  • There may be additional steps prior to approval.
  • There isn’t an established review schedule, SCMS and/or Payroll will provide weekly process updates.
