HRS Training Classes are free classes offered for staff by various University of Texas departments. Coordinated by the Organization Development group in Human Resource Services, the classes are posted on the Class Listing page.

Who can attend training?

All benefits-eligible employees can attend classes with their supervisor's permission.

How do I register for a workshop?

Registration information is on the "register" page.

Where are the workshops held?
Unless otherwise noted in the Training Calendar, the workshops are held in the 4th floor training room (4.106) at the North Office Building A (NOA) located at 27th and Wichita (101 E. 27th St.). A map can be found online.

Where can I find parking?
Since parking spaces are limited, participants are encouraged to walk or ride the shuttle/Capital Metro bus. Participants who do drive and find parking in either Speedway Garage (Speedway, between 27th Street and W. Dean Keeton) or 27th Street Garage (27th Street, between University and Wichita) can have their garage ticket validated in the training room by an HRS representative 10 minutes before each training session begins.

What do I do if I need to cancel my attendance to a workshop?

Contact the HRS Training section at 471-5045 as early as possible, so that your reserved space can be reassigned.
