Why did you choose to attend The University of Texas at Austin?
I chose to attend UT because it rules, and Plan II is awesome, and I like the football! Actually, Plan II is the true reason, and it has an awesome acceptance rate to Baylor (dream medical school!) and it's huge. I know that's contrary to what most people say, but the fact that there are so many people here means that there are a lot more things to do and a variety of people to meet and hang out with. There are clubs to fulfill everyone's extracurricular needs and it's just a lot of fun being around so many people. And Austin is absolutely GORGEOUS! When you're looking out on the South Mall, and see the Capitol from there, how could you NOT want to come here? Plus, it has nice weather, and this cool thing called TERRAIN and SEASONS (which we don't have in good old H-town)! I basically came here, fell in love with Austin, and decided there was no way that I couldn't spend the next four years of my life here, and Plan II was the deciding factor—it's an AWESOME program with the best professors!

What is your major?
Plan II/Biochemistry with a minor in Biology, Pre-Med.

What do you want to do when you graduate from the university?
Attend Baylor College of Medicine (B-COM) in Houston and become some sort of surgeon, but definitely NOT a gynecologist.

If you had to choose one thing about yourself to share with the university's Web audience, what would it be?
I'm a very energetic person. I like bright colors, bright things, I like to jump and bounce rather than walk, I talk very quickly and I think that life is funny, so we should laugh at it. Seriously, humor is great! It makes life so much easier. But I guess that's not just one thing, is it? Oh, I also like to talk a lot.
