Great news and great fun

March 2nd- Texas Independence Day

If for some reason, you didn’t know the importance of March the 2nd, there are a few reminders on campus.

I started off March 2nd going to Gregory Gym. It was an ordinary day. Then, I saw a swarm of guys holding yellow roses coming down the stairs. I knew one of the guys. I looked at him in confusion and asked what he was doing. He told me to not worry and that it would be fun. Next thing you know, I’m being serenaded by a group of guys holding yellow roses to the song- You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling. I was laughing the whole time. At the end, they all wished me a happy Texas Independence Day and gave roses to all the girls.

This is a tradition that the Tejas Club does every year. I heard about it, but never got to experience it myself.

It was a great way to start off the day, and I also found out. . .

I got an interview for the Archer Program!

I’ll keep you posted- Michelle
