How did this happen?
How did January suddenly become May? How did I go from being a freshman to a junior that is bound for Washington D.C.?
I’m not sure. I guess it’s true. Time flies when you’re having fun.

Hey all. I haven’t felt like I’ve had much to say recently, so apologies for a semi-lack of postage. The year is quickly winding down, and the piles of stuff I need to do are a little daunting.
Wheezing and rocking out.
Well, I’m close to being healthy again, but I still have a horrible wheezing cough. So, I went to the University Health Services in the Student Services Building on Thursday.
A Day of Tragedy. . .

It was a day of great sadness and tragedy. There was a shooting at Virginia Tech. I realize it’s all over the news, but I want to give the perspective of a UT student.
A Law Abiding Post about Pre-K
I has been brought to my attention (Ahhhh passive voice, I’m an English major, I should be crucified. That was passive too. Ouch) that putting pictures of school children on the internet is, understandably, quite illegal without all sorts of permission and forms and things of that nature. I hadn’t really thought about it. Anyway, I came up with a solution that I think is best for all parties involved.
The hardest 3 weeks of the year….
Three more weeks and it’s all over…well, almost, I still have two finals to take. Just because there’s three weeks left, doesn’t mean school gets any easier, on the contrary, it gets kind of tough.

World of Warcollege
I apologize for my tardiness in posting an update, but I’ve really had no material to work with lately. I like to put pictures with my posts, and I’ve been meaning to talk about the awesome Pre-K class I observe/student teach in for UTeach, but I keep forgetting to take my camera. I’ll do an absurdly cute post regarding that soon, but in the meantime I will reveal to you what I’ve been doing with the time I do not spend studying or doing homework (almost all of my time).

One of my weaknesses is that I expect too much of people. For example, I help out Person A all of the time, and for some reason I expect that Person A would maybe one day return the favor. Well, often Person A does not. Moral of the story: People are human, they will disappoint you – you just have to learn to deal with it.

I am so trying to stay calm! For the last week it has been really crazy and it is going to be crazy for the next week. So let me tell you what has been going on. This past week was my sororities, Sigma Gamma Rhos Regional Conference in Dallas, Texas.
