Listen, Ive had the best of intentions for the past few weeks, but just havent set time aside. To make things worse, I forgot my password and login information for the blogging system. Turns out its been about 3 weeks, but I have plenty to say.
Wow, these past two weeks have been super busy for me. I finally decided to get a job for the spring semester and on top of my internship and the class I am taking, I am already feeling short on time…uh-oh.
I went home this past weekend and ran into a few relatives. After the obligatory small talk, I asked them if they planned on voting in the primary. The response was a collective “Why would we go do that? It doesn’t matter much, does it?” Mouth open, I recovered from my blackout of horror. So here is a piece I won a a talent show with. I wrote it because I knew a friend who was going through this situation that they are no longer a part of. Hope you enjoy.
So sorry for all the weeks I have gone without a post. It seems like this semester is a lot more hectic than last semester and it has only started. I only have thirteen hours but I work at almost twenty five hours a week and I have the internship at Breakthrough for another six hours. I dont know how long Ill be able to keep up with my schedule.
If there’s any truly annoying part of the pre-med track- besides the flaming hoops of expectation- it has to be the timesucks that can potentially RUIN the life of any hopeless romantic. With this year’s Valentine’s Day taking place the day in the middle of bad workload, I found myself having to… compromise any Notebookesque plans for the evening. Here’s to all you hopeless romantics with academic goals that leave your planner with less holes than Stevie Wonder’s dartboard.
