80th Annual Zilker Kite Festival March 2nd~

Head out to Zilker Park this Sunday, fly a kite, and help children in need at the same time.

This Sunday, March 2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. come out to enjoy a beautiful day with friends. Bring a frisbee, volley ball and swim suits.

Started in 1929 by the Exchange Club of Austin, each year friends and families are invited to buy kites, concessions and t-shirts with all the proceeds going to prevent child abuse, help those who have been victim to abuse, and to give as scholarships to high school seniors.

There will be lots of vendors so come out and splurge a little for a good cause.

Zilker Park is located on 2100 Barton Springs Rd. Be prepared for traffic and a possible parking fee. Have some good cds in the car!

Also:
Check out the “7 Deadly Sins” Mix at the Blanton tomorrow evening anytime from 8-11 p.m. featuring the latest exhibit “Virgins, Saints, and Angels.” Apparently there will be some tango dancing… ^_^
