Bon Appetit!

Great Austin eating!

Vivo Restaurant

Enoteca Vespaio

I recently had Sunday brunch at this piece of Heaven located at 1610 S. Congress Ave. Get ready to be transported out of this world. The food is spectacular and I recommend taking people you care about here for a delicious meal!

Vivo Mexican Restaurant

The ambiance is beautiful, vibrant colors embrace you, even the restrooms are covered with nice pictures, the sinks filled with ice and rose petals. The food is good and women get a beautiful and fragrant complimentary rose! This is a nice place to go for a special occasion.

Kerbey Lane (This year’s Austin’s Best American Breakfast Restaurant)

This list would not possibly be complete without Kerbey Lane. With a huge variety of food and great desserts, the Lane, with several Austin locations has amazing standard and unique dishes.
I mean hello, every college student needs a 24 hour place to grab breakfast. I love their turkey and chicken avocado quesadillas as well as all their amazing desserts!
Awesome place to hang out with family and friends any time.
A great sanity break for all-nighters or finals.

Mings Cafe (Chinese on Guadalupe St.)

Right next to Kerbey Lane is the adorable Mings Cafe. I LOVE this Chinese food place. The portions are very generous and the price is ridiculously wonderful. Their Moo Goo Gai Pan and Chicken Friend Rice are my favorites! The staff is also really friendly.

Mellow Mushroom (Guadalupe St.)

Care for some pizza? Mellow Mushroom has great pizza and salads. The bloggers all went to grab a bite!

Which Wich? (Guadalupe St.)

Okay… I LOVE Which Wich! This “wicked” create-your-own sandwich place is really cool. You go in, pick a bag and check off what you want on your sandwich. No having to repeat your choices over and over. I usually draw a cartoon on the back of my bag so I can watch it make its way down on the wire. My favorite sandwich? Chicken with mayo, american cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and black olives! I still have yet to try their seafood sandwiches, yum.

Amy’s Ice Cream

So you haven’t had ice cream until you’ve had Amy’s Ice Cream. They have delicious flavors from the usuals to Cranberry and Amaretto Peach!

1886 Cafe and Bakery at The Driskill Hotel

Head to downtown Austin for an elegant meal at the Driskill Hotel. If you want a fine and delicious meal, this is the place to go. They have wonderful croissants, pan seared wild king salmon and an amazing Apple Crisp Dessert!

Brick Oven Restaurant

With three locations, this Austin restaurant is DELISH! I recently went for the first time and enjoyed a pizza with oven-roasted chicken and alfredo sauce. I felt like my brain had become chocolate after I devoured their white and dark chocolate cake. It was spectacular!

Other great places to eat:

Red River Cafe
Stubb’s Bar-B-Q
Le Madeleine
Spaghetti Warehouse
The Roaring Fork
Counter Cafe
Hoa Hoa (in Dobie Mall)

This is one of my favorite performances by Colm Wilkinson singing Bring Him Home:
