You’re Up Then You’re Down

There is so much stuff going on this week, it’s ridiculous. Here are the three events that I’m excited about and planned to attend.

Feel Good Inc. or: Everyone Looks Forward to Sunday Night

You must eat Campbell’s soup,

Cause you’re looking “M’m! M’m! Good!”

And I just love those foods,

That make me feel so good.

Eva’s Family Does Washington!

We had been planning this excursion since I was accepted into this fellowship a few months ago. Since I have class on certain weekends and work full time, this past weekend was the only feasible time we could do this!

The Man in the Moon is Snoring

I’ve been feeling pretty restless lately. My weekdays revolve around classes, homework, and sleep. Sometimes I throw in a little time for food and friends. But not often. My weekends are no better, just more sleep and less class. I’m in college, shouldn’t I be doing more?

Mama never told me there’d be weeks like this,

When the past weeks of bliss, are mere memories,

Goodbye to them you’ve already kissed, long lost at sea.

Texas Fight (?)

My high school had a football team, but they were called the Peglegs, had a wheelchair-bound coach, and I’m pretty sure they never won a game. I went to the homecoming game my freshman year but it was so depressingly bad that I left early. I never really understood football’s appeal.
