Castles Made of Sand Fall Into the Sea, Eventually or: Spring Break Hangover

Here I am, Friday,

Still with a Spring Break hangover.

I just can’t seem to get on track,

And Spring Break’s long been over.

Aside from the bipolar weather,

I have no excuse.

And I don’t know whether

Spring Break was of any good use.

Yes, SXSW was fun; plenty of stories to share,

Yes, home was good, too; kinda wish I was still there.

But now that I’m back,

I still feel gone,

And all the determination I now lack,

Better return soon.

…And all the neighbors start to gossip and drool

Weather means more when you have a garden. There’’s nothing like listening to a shower and thinking how it is soaking in around your green beans.
