The Start of the Third
Hey! What’s up Longhorn faithful?
So I’m just starting the second half of my college career and I’m glad you made a stop at my blog, I promise to make it worth your time. There’s so much going on here at UT and the surrounding city of Austin. I look forward to making my second year here at UT even more unforgettable than the first and I plan on bringing you all along with me, one blog at a time. I want to make this blog as interactive as possible so feel free to leave any comments or questions.
My name is Saul. I was born in LA, but moved to Texas in junior high at the discretion of my mom. My father is Chinese and I have three older brothers. I graduated from Edinburg High in 2007 and spent my freshman year at the University of Texas Pan-American. I was a CAP student, but elected to drop due to restricted entrance policies. Currently, I am a Pre-Sport Management major in the College of Education. For a more in depth look at my background and first-year experience here at UT, you can check out my Be A Longhorn page.
As of right now, I’m running study hours for the Psi class in the PCL (Perry-Castenada Library). This week has been pretty crazy because at this point I’m really starting to feel the workload of being Sigma Pi pledge trainer. It’s nice being able to tell a bunch of people what to do, but it also carries a lot more responsibility than I thought. I have my dreaded 8 o’clock tomorrow morning so I am going to try’n get to sleep by 1 although that’s doubtful. Anyways, Pledge Retreat and the UTEP game are this weekend so I’ll be back once peaceful Sunday arrives. Ttyl..
