Olympic Fever!
I love the Olympics! Guess this is the Sport Management side of me coming out, but I love the competition, pageantry, nationalism, etc. I had a few professors at UT who worked for the Olympics in Sydney — how cool is that? Tonight, I’m so proud that my Austria won a gold medal!! Woo hoo!
When I studied abroad in Salzburg, many of my classmates and I went to the Torino Olympics. Collin and I saw Russia play Kazakhstan in the hockey preliminary event. AMAZING cultural experience to see these two groups of fans play in the same arena. Russia won 3-1 I believe….. here are some pictures!
