Guest Bloggin’ for the B-School

Last week Jim Turley, the CEO of Ernst and Young, came and spoke as part of my beloved Business Council’s VIP: Distinguished speaker series. It ended up that McCombs wanted someone on council to blog about it for their site, and guess who got the honor — yours truly! Check it outttttttttttttt.

Archer Program Success!!! Going to D.C.

After waiting for what seemed like a lifetime, I learned last week that I was indeed accepted in the Archer Program for the Fall 2010 semester! I received the email at like 1 p.m. last Friday and all I could do was smile. I knew that this was perhaps the biggest moment of my college career.

TxSkoolboi.com… Build YOUR website!!

A few months ago the thought of having a website never even crossed my mind, but after coming across a ‘build your own website’ website I decided it may be time to take my business a step further. I figured my business, providing DJ services to the UT & Austin community, could use a website because I may take next semester off to do a co-op and I risk losing communication with campus organizations which are one of my biggest clients. Be Nice to the Bus Driver (and other Etiquette)

Listening to: Beep Beep (The Little Nash Rambler) — The Kingston Trio

MDR,

Hard to believe that there are only 7 more weeks in the school year, and 7 more weeks until I get married. Honeymoon flights were booked last week — Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary — HERE I COME!

Must focus on a paper due Monday….

Spring Break – Geek Style

Listening to: Band on the Run — Paul McCartney & Wings

MDR,

Let’s get one thing straight right now. I don’t party. Spring break on the beach with thousands of other drunk college students? Not my cup of tea.
