End of the year festivities – Formals

Towards the end of the year many organizations begin to celebrate the end of the academic year in a number of ways. They hold formals, banquets, pool parties, boat parties and many other events to help students get over the stress of finals and get ready for the joy of summer.

I won’t be speaking much about the following images. I think the images should speak for themselves.

Hey Manual, those are some interesting pictures of formals you posted on the Longhorn Confidential. I came across reading your blog about the end of year festivities because of a curiosity I had about some campus organizations. As a new transfer student, I had a question about some of the organizations: which organizations do you know of have all of those formals, pool parties, banquets, and boat parties? I appreciate your answer.

Through my years at UT I’ve seen many different orgs. have all types of events. I spent most of my time with Texas Latin Dance because I like to dance and they have many social events, but many frats/sororities have boat parties, formals, club parties and informational events about issues on campus.

Professional orgs. in the business and engineering schools have hired me for banquets and formals including Alpfa(pictured above), Black Business Student Association, Hispanic Business Student Association, Asian Business Student Association, Society of Hispanic Engineering Professionals.

As you can see, there are many organizations to choose from and each has its own events planned out for the members. I’m sure you’ll find something that interests you that will provide the events you seek.
