A Stolen Season

I always thought that one of the greatest self-indulgences was to live in a hotel, à la Bill Murray in Lost in Translation. You don’t need to make your bed, you never run out of shampoo, and there’s almost always a killer view involved. However, after living in various hotels for the better part of December I need to amend this fantasy. The deal is to live in one hotel, because hopping around several to the point where you’re only in each hotel for a couple nights just isn’t honey.

The few times I had a video camera in hand during this trip I was doing the tourist thing in Santiago. Here’s a fan video made by yours truly, set to the music of Tucumanque de Romeral, the band that performed at my wedding.
