Love goes toward love, as schoolboys from their books
Technically I’m not done: I still have my Portuguese final Monday afternoon. But today was the day I decided to clear my floor space and return this semester’s load of books home.
This is my favorite day of the semester. I’m the opposite of a pack rat and revel in spring cleaning-like activities. A semester isn’t officially over until all my notes have been filed and all books have been taken back. Here’s a snapshot of my trunk before the drop-off:

However, the books revolted when I tried to return them. The PCL’s return bin in the alley was full, which led me to the FAL since I was fiercely determined to be rid of them; I imagine my little Yaris would not have enjoyed toting them around an extra few days. Once I unpacked them and tried to leave the FAL parking lot, my car wouldn’t start. For suspicious reasons still unknown my battery was dead. No one was around while I was taking stacks into the library, except the remaining books. I’m not pointing fingers, but…
