One thing Winston jokes about is how once you hit 60 years old, people stop caring what you think or say. Of course, he jokes because it stings.

You’re not the only one who has told me they would like to meet Winston. I am seriously considering starting a blog with “Winstonisms.” If anything, it would be neat to show that there is a market for sarcastic, honest advice from someone with six and half decades of life under their belt.

I was mesmerized with your story. The organization, but more the rhythm of your words propelled me through, and I want to meet Winston. Reading this out of order, providing some hindsight, probably enhanced my enjoyment…but I love it!

Over the past decade, falling for the writing bug was a gradual love affair, and then suddenly grad school kicked it into a full on engagement. I’m almost afraid to hope you’re right. Finding an avenue to write for a large audience sounds glorious. . . it’s scary in the best way

Great post. Most impressive is your willingness to share personal issues and honestly evaluate yourself in context.

I think you may be missing your true calling as a blogger or journalist. I see you “accidentally” becoming a good columnist…. reminding me of something like a “Marley and Me-” ish evolution.
