For most people in Austin, this week has been ridiculously cold. The wind has been, in my opinion, out of control! But, despite the weather, I have certainly had a lot to do. And, today is no different! I am spending the day indoors relaxing and doing work. Plus, I got to sleep in!

As of yesterday afternoon, I officially know what I will be doing after graduation! It took a lot of thinking and an entire semester to figure things out, but I am so excited to share my plans with all of you.

I am about 7.5 hours away from my Finance final, which means I am about 10-10.5 hours away from freedom and the end of my final fall semester at this great university.
Well, with the fall semester nearly behind us, the holidays are beginning and I for one just cannot wait. For me, the celebrating started on Monday, when the UT Speech Team had its annual Christmas (or Holiday) Party.
Today is the last day of classes for the fall semester! The next time I go to class after today will be on the first day of my last semester in school! Ahhh!!
Have you ever seen the movie Up in the Air? I love that movie and I think the whole cast is fantastic in it. I was watching it at some point over the Thanksgiving Break (in addition to playing large amounts of Kinect) and it occurred to me how much I actually travel.
Right now, I am sitting in a hotel room in Mountain View, Calif. I am about to head off to an interview for a job that you could say is a job of my dreams.
So my trip out to California was really fun. I had a great time at my interview and I’m actually flying back out to California again next week for another interview with a different company.
Well, I have officially been accepted into Teach For America (TFA)! I am so excited because I received my top preferences for everything: I will (tentatively) be teaching Middle School Math in San Antonio!
