Every semester there are two clear marks of the beginning of a new semester:
“Home is where the heart is.”
“There is no place like home.”
“Home is where memories are built.” (I think this one resembles an HGTV commercial.)
As 2008 has come to an end and a new year has already begun, I wanted to look back at what the fall semester brought into my life!
…there was a Part 1 so there is definitely a need for at least a Part 2 to my Birthday Month. So as promised in last week’s post…the half-way mark report is here!
I figured I should have a post in honor of my birthday month! Yes, December. Definitely my favorite month of the year: it’s Christmas, my birthday (will finally be 20!), the slight possibility of snow in Virginia, and the time I get to see my parents at home for more than a weekend!
As you may or may not have read in my previous entry- this Thanksgiving I made the tough decision to not go to The Woodlands to spend Thanksgiving Day and break with my aunt, uncle, and cousins and instead decided to stay in Austin and go to my first Texas versus Texas A&M game.
