Okay, okay, … not that I ever HAD any fashion, but seriously it’s COLD OUTSIDE!
Every now and then God gives us an opportunity to witness something truly beautiful. When these moments come, we immediately know they are distinct from the thousands of moments we encounter each day. They are gifts… gifts that change us, that humble us, and illuminate our spirits.

So I played my final UT Symphony Orchestra concert last Wed. I have completed my large ensemble degree requirements and will be student teaching. I truly love orchestral playing so it was a little sad playing my last concert at UT, but it was superb! I had the opportunity to play principal viola.
I recently had the fantastic opportunity to take part in the inaugural performance of the UT Chamber Orchestra at the Blanton Museum of Art. Violin Professor Brian Lewis and viola Professor Roger Myers invited UT string students to join them in performance on Dec. 2nd.
Can you imagine a time when daylight is generated by coal, the world illuminated by artificial light while pollution blots out the sun from the history of humanity? A time when words such as flower and water have no tangible meaning to our children?
