My College Dream, A Reality
It’s hard to describe in words, things that make you feel alive, things that push you to the edge, things that help you find out a little bit more about who you really are. This year has been all about those moments. It was my second year on campus and I definitely broke into my [...]
Chilifest!
This past weekend I went to A&M’s annual “Chilifest”. We have a chapter over there so it was nice having a bunch of welcoming hosts to show us around and help fill in the time.
The event takes place in Snook, TX which is about 20 minutes away from College Station. It was a bit of [...]
Can Someone Please Take Me Back to South Padre?
Wow, so it’s been a while and there are many things to share.
(In the words of that Rolaids Guy): UT spells OPPORTUNITY

If +/- Friended Me on Facebook, I Would Ignore Him
It’s finally over! Pheww, that was entertaining. As you might guess, I spent the last three weeks of school slaving over all my finals and end of the semester major assignments.
It’s Getting Cold… Darn, That Means Finals Are Near
Hey everybody how’s it goin?
As an update to my last post, Cartel was amazing! I saw them at Emo’s with my friend Felicia last week. They played a lot of songs from their new album and of course, many of their older hits including my favorite “Honestly.” A lot of the time when I go [...]
Change Institute and the Impending Doom of No More Pledges
This last weekend I attended the Change Institute. The Change Institute is an annual retreat that the GLIE (Greek Life and Intercultural Education) office holds. It focuses on various social justice topics such as racism, sexism, and classism among others.
