TFA Preview Weekend
Last weekend or so, I went to Houston for Teach for America’s Preview Weekend. I got to meet TFA Corps members incoming, current, and outgoing. It was awesome to get to sit down with them and pick their brains about the whole teaching experience.

In my four years here at UT, I have met a bajillion people. Fortunately, I am good with faces. I can recognize someone if I have met them even only one time. But, my skills are put to the test when it comes to Facebook.
I WILL Teach for America
Last semester, I applied for Teach for America. On Tuesday, I found out that I was accepted and placed in Houston, teaching grades 4-8th. This is exactly what I wanted!
