This week alone, I have to conduct two focus groups for a class research project. I have a presentation due on Thursday, and I turned in a 10 page paper on Wednesday. I also have to start writing up a draft of my project with my group with is only about 25 pages when you add it all up.
And while I don’t feel any different being 21, I think it really means I am getting closer to be a real adult. I can’t hide behind the college walls much longer. That thought is actually scarier than been a year older.
This past week I decided to do something that I had not expected. I resigned from my press intern position at Senator Judith Zaffirini’s (Z) office. I had been interning there since July and appreciated the experience. My journey to being a press intern was an interesting one.

This past weekend was my first trip to the infamous UT vs. OU game. I went with a couple of my girlfriends, Tia, Brittany, Bree and Shala. Being that it was my first trip to the game, we had to do it big.
This semester I am doing something I have always wanted to do; learn how to do sign language. I am currently taking American Sign Language (ASL 506) as a class this semester. The build up leading to this conclusion is quite interesting.
