The University of Texas at Austin
how to use the postcard creation wizard

You must be a student, faculty or staff member
of the University of Texas at Austin to use this service.

1. Request a login name and password from postcards@www.utexas.edu.

2. Decide what you want to do:

  • Send a simple mailing, which allows you to send one postcard using your own image. This is ideal if you would like to quickly generate a card using your own custom image.

  • Send an advanced mailing, which provides all features of the simple mailing, plus allows you to personalize
each and every card. You will need to upload a distribution list to use this facility.

  • Upload custom postcards for your category page using the Image Management Tool, which allows you to create and manage your own department's postcards. Your postcards will be accessible to everyone and will be linked from the main Colleges category.
3. Follow the steps in the Wizard. If you get stuck and need help getting familiar with the application, call 471-6346 or send an e-mail to postcards@www.utexas.edu.
