Graham McDougall is an associate professor in the School of Nursing. Professor McDougall’s research program emphasizes risk factors and interventions designed to influence the frequent complaint of “memory loss” in at-risk older adults.
Professor McDougall is conducting a five-year (2001-06) study to test the effects of the Cognitive Behavioral Model of Everyday Memory (CBMEM) intervention on memory performance and memory self-efficacy, and its ultimate effect on instrumental activities of daily living. The project is funded by the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health.
