Family Mailing List

The UT Family Mailing List enables subscribers to communicate with one another quickly and easily.

Purpose of the Mailing List

* Post information about activities of interest to the general family population
* Share resources of general interest
* Ask questions for which answers are not available on the UT Family web site, through the family coordinators in the International Office or in other easily accessible sites
* Request help for specific needs, such as car pools to another campus


What the Mailing List Should Not Be Used for

* Personal correspondence. Please be sure that you are addressing a response directly to the person sending the e-mail, not to the listserv in general.
* Posting newsletters from organizations outside the UT community
(The addresses of listservs you can join will be posted from time to time)
* Requests for employment that is not authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service

Posting a Message to Mailing List

* To send a message, address your e-mail to utfamily@utlists.utexas.edu

Use an appropriate subject line to identify your topic, so people can see clearly if it is of interest to them.
* Your sending address must match the address under which you are subscribed, or it will be rejected.
