begins with the International Student Orientation Program on Friday, August 15th. This fun and interactive event begins at 9:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm.
This is your opportunity to meet many other international students and make connections with departments on campus that offer
services to students and ask questions that are important to you. The
highlight of this day is the Welcome Lunch and Information Fair. This
program takes place at the Texas Union Ballroom (UNB).

tours of campus, tours of the city of Austin, and a shopping trip. Welcome
Weekend also features an immunization clinic, and an ice cream social on Saturday. Arrival in time to attend

immunizations and TB testing in time to register for classes. Saturday events will take place in the International Office
at 600 W. 24th St. from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
