Mornings
Thanksgiving Book, Coffee Morning Nov.
20, 2007 The UT Family and Community Programs meets every Tuesday for a "Coffee Morning." There is time for socializing, enjoying drinks and snacks, and then there is a cultural presentation. Once a month we have a Cooking Morning, when we learn how to make a special dish from another country. Recent presentations have included a welcome morning for new wives, weaving of potholders and hot pads, and a cooking morning in which we made Brazilian candies. The program begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 12:00 p.m. Children are welcome, and there are toys, juice, and snacks to help keep them happy. People from all nations are welcome, including the U.S. participants; you do not need to be affiliated with the University of Texas.
We meet at the Baptist Student Center, which is located on 2204 San Antonio Street. Print and place this parking permit on your dash so that it is visible to the parking attendant. Otherwise your car may be towed.
