About the Information Analyst Training Program

The Information Analyst Training Program has been in place since the mid 1970s.  From the beginning its mission has been to recruit and train analysts with strong technical and business skills who become cornerstones of professionalism and service for departments across the university.  Every year, dozens of volunteers from departments across campus assist us by instructing new trainees, reviewing apprentices' work, teaching and administering classes, and contributing new materials and ideas. This collaborative and symbiotic effort has endured for many years. It has resulted in an education program that is vital, responsive, and continually re-energized by the larger university IT community.
