About the Position

As the group responsible for ITS communications at the University of Texas at Austin, the ITS Strategic Communications team needs an innovative Webmaster dedicated to maintaining and improving the ITS Web site. You will work among a creative team of writers, graphic designers, and database and content developers in a shared vision to develop this world-class Web site.  Take ownership in exploring and implementing your ideas with assurance in knowing that the team is there to support you.

About Strategic Communications

Strategic Communications is a small, high-performance group that reports to the Vice President for Information Technology. We support the Vice President, Information Technology Services and the Information Security Office through content development, Web publishing, communications planning and strategic planning, among other responsibilities. We also plan and coordinate events, support internal communications and inform the campus about central technology options. Some of the many functions performed within our group include technical documentation, communications, graphic design, Web design, Web publishing, information architecture, business analysis and strategic planning.
