Infrastructure
The Infrastructure group includes a wide variety of core campus IT services, including data center operations, telecommunications, engineering, construction, building security control, and cabling.
Audio Visual & Multimedia
Audio-visual equipment rental, operators, electronic equipment repair, and multimedia support for educational activities and special events on campus.
Campus Security Systems
Campus Security Systems provides design, installation, and maintenance services for intrusion protection systems, building access control, fiber optic loop (FOL) property protection, panic/duress buttons, and video security systems.
University Data Center
The University Data Center (UDC) manages and staffs the Information Technology Services computing facilities, ensuring critical servers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The UDC also provides services for university departments, including backup and recovery, co-location of servers, computer equipment and repair, and printing. Video
Video includes both broadcast and interactive programming on the university campus and in Austin in support of instructional, research, and administrative programming. Video services include satellite programming, cable TV, streaming media, and videoconferencing services.
Voice
Telephony and voice-related services for the university campuses, including telephone lines, headsets, desksets, cell phones, long distance, pagers, voice mail, and more.
