Reservation Guidelines

By making a reservation you are agreeing to abide by the following guidelines:

  • These rooms are maintained in part by those who use them. Please keep them CLEAN and return equipment and furniture to their proper locations.
  • ITS staff may not be immediately available to provide support during an event. It is strongly recommended that first-time users of a room make a prior invitation to do a test run of the event. This is especially important for a two-way videoconference or webcast from the spaces. You should coordinate with the NOC, 471-2400, when you schedule the room for the test and any two-way/webcast events.
  • Your reservation should include both setup and cleanup time. Allow enough time within your reservation for these activities. Please note that the Flawn Academic Center closes at 4:45 p.m. during intersession and breaks.
  • The rooms are normally unlocked upon arrival.
  • Please remember that your reservation is not confirmed until you receive notice from the reservation staff.

NOTE: Austin Exchange Messaging Service users may directly reserve rooms by "inviting" the desired room to a meeting as a resource in their Exchange client. All conference rooms are listed in the Global Address list under their building code and room number.
