Wireless and Wired Public Internet Access
On the evenings of Monday, October 8, and Tuesday, October 9, from 5-7pm, Networking will be conducting maintenance on the campus wireless network. During the maintenance, the campus wireless system will experience staggered 3-5 minute service interruptions.
The maintenance involves a software upgrade to the core wireless controllers. The current software has multiple bugs that are causing instability in the campus wireless network, as well as a bug that makes the campus wireless system incompatible with certain client devices running Windows 8 (affects both the public beta and official releases). The updated software resolves these issues.
