As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/19/2016.

ITS Services Status

RESTORED: Group E-mail Unavailable
Service Restored

Service has been restored.

ITS has discovered a way to retrieve e-mail messages that were not delivered during the service interruption. Group messages sent after 6 p.m. yesterday have been queued for delivery. Users still cannot generate e-mail addresses within the group e-mail system.

At this time, ITS is not allowing users to generate e-mail addresses within the group e-mail system. ITS will contact users whose messages were not delivered. Users can still request authorization to use the system.

Upon further investigation, group e-mail messages sent any time after 6 p.m. yesterday that have not yet been delivered should be considered lost. ITS cannot guarantee that any messages submitted during the service interruption will be delivered. ITS is continuing to investigate the problem.

On Wednesday morning, September 17, 2008, Group E-mail stopped distributing messages. ITS is investigating the problem.
